Full Circle in Murrumbeena: From Uni Days to Dairy Deliveries
There’s something special about the way life circles back.
Back when I was a broke uni student living in Murrumbeena church flats for country students, I discovered a little Middle Eastern shop. It was my favourite find - not just for the $1 flatbreads, short black coffees, and tubs of tzatziki that kept me going but for the warm welcome from the man behind the counter.
He probably wouldn’t remember me, but I remember him. I used to bring him raw Jersey milk from my family farm when I’d head home to Lakes Entrance. He loved it.
That little shop? It’s grown into a full-blown food emporium - the iconic Oasis Bakery. It’s a feast for the senses, packed with colour, culture, and now… Gippsland Jersey milk.
🟡 Here’s where you come in, Murrumbeena. 🟡
Oasis has kindly given me one shot to prove Gippsland Jersey belongs on their shelves. If we sell out this first delivery, they’ll keep us on.
No pressure, right? 😅
But I know what this community is capable of. I’ve lived it.
So here’s how you can help:
1. Head into Oasis Bakery, Murrumbeena
2. Grab a bottle of Gippsland Jersey milk (or two!)
3. Snap a pic, tag @gippslandjersey and @oasis_au — and tell a friend
Every bottle you buy helps keep Aussie dairy on shelves, supports local farmers, and funds mental health initiatives across rural Victoria.

💛 Let’s show Oasis the power of community.
Thank you for being part of the journey,
