When we opened our Pakenham factory doors, we wanted to create a space that celebrates local food and community. Our retail shop is a one-stop-shop for independent food lovers.

Pull up a stool and enjoy a specialty coffee, a thick milkshake made with our 100% Jersey milk, or a hot, comforting toastie and soup combo. Before you head out, grab your weekly loaf of local bread, some sweet cookies, and explore our shelves loaded with unique pantry treasures from fellow small businesses. Our Story


Born in 2016 out of a deep love for dairy, community, and doing things properly. Gippsland Jersey was co-founded by Sallie Jones (a local passionate about mental health and regional resilience) and Steve Ronalds (a 4th-generation Jindivick dairy farmer). Together, they set out to bridge the gap between farmer and consumer.

More Than Milk: Why We Fight For Our Farmers

After co-founder Sallie Jones lost her father to suicide, she channelled her grief into creating a values-led business alongside 4th-generation dairy farmer Steve Ronalds. Our mission was clear from day one: pay farmers a fair price, and brutally tackle the mental health crisis plaguing rural Australia.

We believe a bottle of milk can be a catalyst for conversation. Through our calendars, community events, and everyday advocacy, we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our regional families.
